Modern life is full of challenges and recent events like the Covid-19 Pandemic and struggle over racial inequalities have contributed to increased stress for many people in our community. Therapy can be an important support during times of change and uncertainty. I offer individual therapy for adults struggling with problems like anxiety, depression or addictions. I have experience working with college students and am familiar with common challenges of young adulthood. I also have worked with many clients who were raised in families where addiction was a problem and have challenges related to these experiences. I welcome and have worked with individuals from different backgrounds, including clients from other countries and cultures, Black clients and other people of color and LGBTQ+ clients. I accept several insurance plans including Anthem and Humana. Online therapy is also available. COVID-19 Service Policy: In-person services are available when Kentucky positivity rate is < 5%
My focus is to help clients identify strengths and learn strategies they can use to cope more effectively with life's challenges, so that they can realize their full potential and find joy in their experiences.
Therapy is a collaboration between client and therapist. Your role is to share your story and be open to learning new ways of doing or thinking about things. My role is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
