Prior to your first session you will fill out some paperwork (I'll email it to you) to help me learn about you. We will spend the first 1-2 sessions assessing your concerns and determine if I am a good fit for your needs. If we agree to work together, sessions are usually scheduled weekly in the beginning, often moving to bi-weekly as symptoms improve. I often ask clients to read or do other tasks like journaling between sessions. Improvement in therapy is mostly determined by what you do differently between sessions, so your commitment to those activities is your key to progress!
During the Covid-19 Pandemic many client's are electing to participate in therapy online via Zoom, and often find this modality preferable due to increased convenience and privacy. Contact me to arrange therapy via Zoom. There are also times when only Telehealth services are available, due to local public health conditions.
